Bride Guide To False Lashes

Lashes, lashes, lashes. What can I say, we LOVE them! There is something to be said about instant gratification, and lashes is one of those things that can make you feel just a little extra gorgeous in just a few seconds! Majority of the brides we work with, are a bit more on the natural side of their everyday beauty routines, and they are usually on the fence about false lashes. Plus, who knew there were so many options when it comes to falsies! In this little guide, we will break down your different lash options for your wedding day.

No Lashes

This is totally an option, however, it is probably what you do everyday and isn't adding a ton of OOMF to your look.

PROS: You are used to it and are comfortable in your own lashes.

CONS: Not opening or brightening the eye.

Individual Lashes

Individual lashes are small little clusters of artificial hairs applied one by one to add length and fulness to the natural lashes.

PROS: Completely customizable look

CONS: They can move around a lot and are not as stable, meaning they can fall off easily. They are also crazy time consuming!

Full Lashes

Full lashes are an excellent way to add a little bit of drama to a relatively natural makeup look.

PROS: They open and brighten the eyes instantly! They look fabulous in photos!

CONS: They can be quite heavy when you first put them on, but you get used to them in 15-20 minutes.

Demi Lashes

I don't want to be biased, but this is probably one of my favorite options! This is where we chop off the outer half of the full lash and apply the remaining inner half of the lashes, to the outer corner of the eye.

PROS: Natural looking, but still with a little drama. No heaviness. Virtually undetectable. Brightens and opens the eye. Great for everyday too!

CONS: Honestly, cant really think of any.

Any way you go, you are going to look stunning, but hopefully this guide helped you make one more decision in the wedding planning process!
